Lucknow. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has planned to provide employment to the youth on a large scale with the determination of ‘Har Haath Ko Kaam’. Employment fairs will be organized every month at 18 divisional headquarters of the state on behalf of the Employment Department. Along with this, employment fair will be organized every week by the department in every district.
With this campaign of Yogi government, participation of all employment-self-employment generating departments in the employment fair will enable unemployed youth to get more opportunities for employment and self-employment at one place. Noida and Ghaziabad have been selected separately for this event based on the specificity of the industrial area.
An official spokesman said that from April 1 to May 23 in Uttar Pradesh, 13,811 unemployed people were given employment in 197 small and major employment fairs. The department has set a target of providing employment to 20,204 unemployed by May 31. 265 companies are participating in the state.
This mega job fair is being organized in Lucknow, Azamgarh, Aligarh, Saharanpur, Ayodhya, Basti, Ghaziabad, Jhansi, Banda, Agra, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gautam Budh Nagar. These fairs will be organized from May 24 to 30. With the participation of all the employment generating departments in this fair, unemployed youth will get more employment opportunities at one place.
By creating an employment help desk in every office, details of programs related to it through employment, self-employment, skill training and apprenticeship are being made available by the concerned department. All Directorates, Corporations, Boards and Commissions etc., under administrative departments, have been designated as nodal officers for the concerned department.
Through these, their information is being made available on the formats available on the employment portal. The help of employment portal sewayojan.up.nic.in, run by the Employment Department, is being taken to deploy manpower in government departments and organizations subordinate to them.
