Prayagraj. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has put women’s empowerment on top priority, will give a big gift to 16 lakh women of self-help groups from the revolving fund of about one thousand crores on Tuesday in Sangamnagari Prayagraj. Under this, the honorarium of Rs 4000 for the first month will also be transferred to the accounts of 20 thousand business associates. PM Modi has also arranged 20 crore rupees for the beneficiaries of more than one lakh Kanya Sumangal Yojana.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Women’s Empowerment Convention at Parade Ground near Sangam on Tuesday. About 2.5 lakh women from across the state are participating in this event. PM Modi will give a gift of 1230 crores to Mother Shakti under various schemes. These women, making themselves self-reliant, under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, worked through self-help groups in village-villages to prove their success. According to the schedule here, Modi will reach at 12:45 pm and will leave by 2:45 pm.
During this program, the Prime Minister will transfer a revolving fund of one thousand crore rupees to the accounts of one lakh self-help groups, which will benefit about 16 lakh women members of self-help groups. Along with this, more than one lakh beneficiaries will be sent an amount of more than Rs 20 crore under Kanya Sumangala Yojana in their accounts. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of 202 Supplementary Nutrition Manufacturing Units here. These units are run by self-financed self-help groups. It will cost about one crore rupees per unit to build them. These units will supply supplementary nutrition under Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) to 600 blocks of the state. This transfer is being done under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact directly with more than 2.5 lakh women who came from across the state to participate in this women’s empowerment conference. PM will give a gift of 1230 crores to Mother Shakti under various schemes. Making themselves self-reliant, these women proved their success by working through self-help groups in village-villages under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission. The administration has made full preparations for the program at the parade ground.
Here Matrishakti will also be given place on the stage of the program, along with the city’s Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi, Union Minister Niranjan Jyoti, MP Hema Malini, MP Geeta Shakya, Anupriya Patel and Cabinet Minister Neelima Katiyar will also be there. Along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Jal Shakti Minister Mahendra Singh and Cabinet Minister Rajendra Pratap Singh ‘Moti Singh’ will also be present.
In the exhibition gallery next to the main stage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will separately talk to those 75 women, who have not only removed their unemployment through the government scheme, but also wrote a different story of success by making the poor women around them self-reliant.
