Dehradun: Chief of Defense Staff General of the country, Vipin Rawat said that the migration on the international border is not good for national security. We have to increase developmental work by emphasizing reverse migration there. Roads, health and education facilities will have to be increased.
On Tuesday, General Vipin Rawat arrived at the police headquarters, where he discussed Uttarakhand’s role in tackling national security challenges. He praised the role of police in praising the law and order in the state. Said that there is a need for more police posts on the border. General Rawat said that the law and order in Uttarakhand is good, so there is a good environment for industry and tourism here. He also said that the Army is considering furthering the Inner Line, so that tourism can be further promoted. During this, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar presented a memento to General Vipin Rawat and spoke of full cooperation on behalf of Uttarakhand Police on reverse migration, international border security and other important topics.
