According to the police, SSB’s 16th Corps, 32nd Battalion and Kharagpur, Ladaiyatand police have taken action against Naxalites in Rajsarai, Kandni and Paisra areas. The joint operation has demolished a temporary camp of Naxalites in a wooded area near Paisra. A large quantity of cane bombs, Naxalite literature and many other items were recovered from the camp.
The Naxalites fled after taking advantage of the forest as soon as the police came to know about it.
