During this, the police of Kavinagar, Nagar Kotwali, Vijaynagar and Madhuban Bapudham police station of Ghaziabad inspected all the small and big hotels in their area. The police also looked at the license of the hotels and the details of the people staying there. During this, 82 hotels and lodges were found without license. The police sealed all these hotels and informed the district administration for further action.
Under this campaign run under the leadership of DCP Nagar, the police inspected more than 122 hotels and lodges. The station in-charge himself reached all these hotels with a large entourage and checked the license of the hotel. During this, the ID of the people staying in the hotel and the entry in the register regarding them were also seen. During this, major irregularities have been found in most of the hotels. According to the police, 82 hotel operators did not even have a license. At the same time, objectionable activities have been found in more than half a dozen hotels.

Similarly, a case of negligence in recording the details of people staying in about a dozen hotels has come to light. According to the police spokesperson, all these hotels have been sealed. Cases are also being registered against the hotel operators in this regard. At the same time, the district administration will take separate action in this regard. He said that a security drive has been started across the district to ensure security in the city on New Year. In this sequence, DCP Nagar and DCP Rural Zone have conducted investigation of hotels in their respective areas.
Action on 82 hotels
According to the police spokesperson, a total of 108 hotels and lodges have been inspected in this action. During this, 82 hotels and lodges were found to be operating without license. He said that it is mandatory to obtain a license to operate any kind of hotel or guesthouse in the city. Apart from this, the details of every person staying in the hotel have to be recorded in the register. Violation of these rules has been found in these hotels.
These hotels were sealed
According to the police spokesperson, during the investigation, the hotels and lodges which did not have licenses have been sealed as per the rules. These mainly include Shankar Hotel in Om Vihar, City Pride Inn on NH 24, Jopas Inn, Oyo Relax Inn, The Sapphire Inn on Taj Highway, Perfect Stay and Happy Hotel. Apart from this, Live In Hotel, Royal Guest House and Diamond Guest House in Bahrampur are included.
