The main accused in the murder case of the priest’s son in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, has surrendered at the police station. The accused was absconding for the last several days. Also, this matter was gaining a lot of attention. The accused has surrendered to the police due to fear of encounter. While surrendering at the police station, the accused was carrying a placard, which read that I am a criminal and I have come to surrender due to fear of police encounter.
The main accused who was absconding in the case of murder of the priest’s son by shooting in Gursandi village of Mirzapur Dehat Kotwali police station area has surrendered at the police station. Due to fear of encounter, the main accused Trinayan Dubey has surrendered at the police station with a placard in his hand. While entering the police station, the accused was saying that today I am surrendering myself among you people, do not encounter me, please forgive me.

Along with this, the accused also had a placard in his hand, in which he had written that I am a criminal, I have come to surrender at the police station due to fear of police encounter. I will not commit any crime in future, send me to jail. Regarding the dispute of the donation box of the temple, the priest of the temple, Kripa Shankar, had given a complaint in Gursandi police station on October 1 that some youths have had a dispute with my son Shivdeep alias Sawan.
The fifth accused surrendered
The accused got angry with this and shot the priest’s son Shivdeep dead and then fled from the spot. After the incident, the police have registered a murder case against Trinayan Dubey, his brother Deepu Dubey, Ankur Dubey, Bajrang Lal Dubey and Ambuj Dubey. The police have already arrested four accused in this case and sent them to jail. At the same time, now the fifth main accused in this case has surrendered.
Police busy investigating the case
Dehat Kotwali in-charge Ajay Seth said that one more accused has been arrested in the case of shooting the youth, who was involved in the murder. So far a total of five accused have been arrested. Investigation of the case is going on.
