SP President Akhilesh Yadav is adamant on attending the program of Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan’s birth anniversary at Jaiprakash Narayan International Center (JPNIC) in Gomti Nagar on Friday morning without permission. In view of this, barricading and police force were deployed outside Akhilesh Yadav’s residence in Lucknow.
Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has closed the gate of JP Center with tin sheets. SP President posted its video on X and wrote that preventing someone from bowing or paying tribute is not a sign of civilized people. After this, at around 11:15 pm, he himself reached the gate of JP Center and questioned the intention of installing tin shed. He alleged that by installing tin shed, the government wants to hide something. Is it possible that it is preparing to sell it. Why are they not allowing to honor a great man? This is not happening for the first time on the birth anniversary of Samajwadi great leader Jaiprakash Narayan.
He said that the painter has been made to sit here only to write ‘under construction’. This building is not under construction, there are preparations to sell it. If the government is not able to run it, it would be better if it sells it. At least it will start functioning. He said, no one can stop ideology by putting up a tin shed. On the question of the program to be held on Friday, he said that he will decide it on the same day. He said, till when will you stop, one day, two days, three days and at the most two years…
Let us tell you that last year also SP did not get permission for this program. Then Akhilesh entered JP Center by jumping over the eight feet wall of iron sheet made by LDA. This time SP sent a letter to LDA and informed about Akhilesh Yadav’s Pushpanjali program in JP Center.
On this, LDA Secretary has sent a letter to the state office of SP saying that permission cannot be given to them due to security reasons. However, SP’s National Secretary Rajendra Chaudhary claims that permission is not required for this program. We have written a letter and informed the concerned officials. Preparations are underway to close all the nine cuts from Akhilesh Yadav’s Vikramaditya Marg residence to JP Center by putting up barricades. Akhilesh will not be allowed to go beyond 1090 intersection.
