Jitendra Narayan Tyagi camped in the parking lot of Hanuman Setu temple with supporters late Sunday evening after the police imposed a lockdown in the house located near the Saadatganj orphanage. He has announced that he will spend the nights in the parking lot till he gets the keys of the house built near the orphanage. He put the bed in the parking lot and lay down. Before this, he had prasad after visiting Hanuman Setu temple with his supporters.
Jitendra Narayan Tyagi (former name Waseem Rizvi) told that he was living in the house located near the orphanage since the year 2016. This house was allotted to him. He had also invested about 25-30 lakh rupees in the construction of the house. After converting to Hinduism, on the co-operation of some people, the police put a lock on their house. He was in jail during the lockdown. He told that on behalf of the Shia Waqf Board, an agreement was made with his father-in-law Ibn Hasan for the land located near the Yatimkhana.
It was decided in the agreement that whenever the orphanage needed this land, they would be given notice three months in advance. Apart from this, whatever money they would have spent in the construction work of the house, it will be given back. But this was not done. The police locked the house on the help of some people and now they are not even giving the keys. Jitendra Narayan Tyagi told that the people of the neighborhood say that there is a Muslim settlement here, so they will not allow it to stay.
In this regard, on Saturday, he also met Police Commissioner DK Thakur and presented his side. The police commissioner had assured him. Even after this the keys of the house have not been handed over. Along with Jitendra Narayan, the national spokesperson of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, Shishir Chaturvedi, Gaurav and others were present in the Hanuman temple. In view of security, Inspector Mahanagar KK Tiwari and heavy police force also reached the spot.
Will take retirement in Haridwar after June 30: Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi told that he will retire in Haridwar after June 30 in the presence of Mahand Ravindrapuri, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad and Mahamandaleshwar Swami Yati Narasimhanand of Juna Akhara.
