Lucknow. In Uttar Pradesh’s Lalitpur, a major action has been taken in the rape case of a victim of gang-rape in the police station. After suspending the accused SHO Tilakdhari Saroj, now the entire police station has been put on line. At the same time, the accused SHO has also been arrested on Wednesday evening. ADG Kanpur Zone has asked for a report in 24 hours by giving the investigation of the matter to DIG Jhansi. At the same time, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has reached Lalitpur district hospital to meet the victim.
It is alleged that SHO Tilakdhari Saroj of Pali police station had called the girl to record her statement. During this, he raped the teenager in his room in the police station premises. Four accused including SHO and woman have been arrested in this incident. At the same time, two people are absconding, who are being searched. DIG Jhansi Jogendra Singh has also done investigation after reaching Pali police station. Police teams have been deployed to nab the accused.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that a case has been registered against six people including the SHO. The ADG zone has put the entire police station on the line. A total of four people have been arrested so far. DIG Jhansi has been instructed to stay on the spot. Whoever is guilty, whether the policeman too, strict action will be taken against everyone.
On the statement of the minor victim, Lalitpur Superintendent of Police Nikhil Pathak ordered the accused SHO to register a case after showing the line. A case was registered against the SHO, the victim’s aunt and four others in this case. Lalitpur SP said that a minor has accused four boys of raping on April 22. When she was brought to the police station, the SHO raped her again.
It is being told that on the behest of the accused SHO Tilakdhari Saroj, the aunt of the teenager had reached Pali police station with her. After this incident, a 13-year-old girl has been admitted to the district hospital. Prior to this, his medical examination was done. In the counseling of child care, it was found that the minor had been sexually assaulted in the police station.
At the same time, the National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police and has called for a report within four weeks regarding the station in-charge of Lalitpur district. The chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women, Vimla Batham, has also sent a letter to the Director General of Police seeking the report of the matter immediately. He said that this incident is very insulting to all the women of the state.
