National Institute for Foundation Teachers under the aegis of Global Foundation for Early Childhood Education and Research in association with Maharishi University of Information Technology had organized two days Teachers Empowerment Programme for Foundation Teachers on 16th and 17th April, 2022 at Maharishi University of Information Technology campus. The programme aimed to create an awareness regarding the much needed attention towards improvement of quality of early childhood education in our country . The motto was not only to bring India at par with international standards but also set an example for the world to follow our steps in early childhood education. The training workshops was conducted by a team of expert trainers in early childhood education from National Institute for Foundation Teachers- Ms. Masuda Yasmin (West Bengal), Ms. Rajani Rao (Karnataka), Ms. Manjeet Legha (New Delhi) and Ms. Sonia Achantani (Gujarat). Ms. Anamika Jha (Co- founder and COO, Global Foundation for Early Childhood Education and Research) was the main lead and organizer of the programme while Ms. Shelly Bisht, Territory head- New Delhi for the organization stole the show with her powerful oratory, she being the master of the ceremony . The training was attended by early childhood educators and educationists from more than 10 states of our country.
Eminent Guests like Dr. Bishwajit Saha (Director, CBSE Skill development and training), Dr. B.P Singh (Vice Chancellor, Maharishi University of Information Technology), Mr. Syed Shamael Ahmed (National President, Private Schools and Child Welfare Association), Mr. R.P Singh (Joint Secretary, Skill Education, CBSE), Mr. Sudhanshu Shekhar (City Coordinator, CBSE), Mr. Piyush Prasad (Assistant Director, National Institute of Open Schooling), Mr. Piyush Sharma (Regional Director, CBSE Regional Office, Noida), Mr. Animesh Saxena (Regional Sports Officer), Mr. Peeyush Pandit, Founder and Chairperson, Swarn Bharat Parivaar and International Internship University), Dr. S K Rathor (Chairman and MD, Sanfort Group of Schools), Dr. Coomar Arunodhaya (Educationist, Social Activist and Writer) and Mr. Navadeep Bharadwaj (National President, All India Principals Association) witnessed the training workshop and appreciated and extended support towards the new age training modules of National Institute for Foundation Teachers. Ms. Rashmi Pandey, a renowned social activist also witnessed the Teachers Empowerment Programme. Maharishi University of Information Technology had collaborated with National Institute for Foundation Teachers and has decided to support the initiative to bring about renaissance in early childhood education and is soon going to launch 6 months certificate course and 1 year Master Certificate Nursery Teachers Training Course. National Institute for Foundation Teachers is coming up with 100+ offline study centres Pan India by June, 2022 and the prospective early childhood educators can avail the new age training in early childhood education from June, 2022.
