Fatehpur. In Arampur Basai village of Sultanpur Ghosh, a school minibus collided directly with a tractor laden with straw on Tuesday night. The bus overturned. There were baratis in the bus. Four people, including a retired teacher, died, while 16 baratis were injured. Two of the deceased could not be identified. After first aid at the Community Health Center, all the injured were referred to the District Hospital. Seeing the condition of three from there, they were referred to Kanpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condoled the accident and directed for proper treatment of the injured.
The procession of Shashiprakash, son of Dr. Ramhit Raidas, from Kamalpur village in Kadadham area of Kaushambi district, was going to Rambabu, Teni village of Khaga Kotwali on Tuesday by school minibus. Around nine o’clock in the night, the bus overturned after a direct collision with a tractor laden with straw from the front near Arampur Basai on the Kada-Hathgam road. The bus blew up. Police station in-charge Tarakeswar Rai, with the help of villagers, took out 20 injured people trapped in the bus and sent them to Hathgam Community Health Center by ambulance, where the doctor sent 18-year-old Sumit son Keshan resident of Sourai police station, Kadadham, while 65-year-old retired teacher Shivram in the district hospital. Residents of Daranagar police station area, Saini, Kaushambi and two unidentified youths were declared dead.

Tractor removed from bulldozer
The station in-charge ordered a bulldozer (backhoe loader) and got the trapped tractor and minibus out of the way and brought them to the side. Traffic was also disrupted for an hour. Relatives and relatives remained helpless on the news of the accident
