Lucknow. With a thumping majority in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022, only the formality of the formation of the BJP government, which made a record of returning to power in Uttar Pradesh, remains to be done. The cabinet formation is yet to be announced after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the top BJP leadership during his two-day visit to Delhi. A lot has been decided in Delhi after CM Yogi Adityanath’s meeting with PM Modi, BJP President Nadda, BJP think tank Amit Shah and BL Santosh.
The date of formation of the new government of Uttar Pradesh and the names of those who will join the cabinet are yet to be formally announced. It is believed that this time three Deputy Chief Ministers will also take oath of office. Both the Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dr. Dinesh Sharma will be entrusted with the work of the organization. The purpose of making three deputy chief ministers is an exercise to work out caste and regional equations. Now the BJP is very serious about Mission 2024 and is trying to achieve a bigger goal by making three deputy CMs in Uttar Pradesh.
It is believed that a total of 62 ministers, including the CM and three deputy CMs, will take oath. It will have 28-30 cabinet ministers. 11-12 Ministers of State with independent charge and 23-24 Ministers of State will take oath. Preparations are on to make former Governor Baby Rani Maurya, who became MLA from Agra Rural, Deputy CM. Along with this, AK Sharma and BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh can also be given the post of Deputy CM. In the 2022 UP elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party won 273 seats. The Samajwadi Party alliance won 125 seats. Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj could get only one seat. Apart from this, Congress has got two seats. Only two seats have come in the account of others.
Suresh Kumar Khanna with Satish Mahana, Brajesh Pathak, Jitin Prasad, Surya Pratap Shahi, Siddharthnath Singh, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Shrikant Sharma, Ashutosh Tandon Gopal Ji, Anil Rajbhar, Jai Pratap Singh, Bipin Verma, Dharampal Lodhi, Bhupendra Chaudhary, Ramapati Shastri, Ashish Patel, Sanjay Nishad, Kunwar Brajesh Singh, Anjula Kori, Suresh Pasi, Pratibha Shukla, Rajiv Singh, Amit Agarwal, Sanjay Sharma, Ravindra Jaiswal, Dinesh Khatik, Sandeep Singh and Mohsin Raza are set to become ministers. Along with this, two MLAs each of Apna Dal and Nishad Party will also be made ministers. Asim Arun, Dayashankar Singh, Pankaj Singh Rampal Verma, Aditi Singh and Rajeshwar Singh can also be made ministers. Preparations are on to send Dr. Mahendra Singh, who was a minister, back to the organization.
