Muzaffarnagar. Muzaffarnagar Police has arrested an accused while busting the factory of making firearms. The police have caught a factory to make firearms from the closed roadie plant on the Barla-Baseda road in Chhapar of the district. Police has also arrested one accused. Police is also interrogating the arrested accused. As the assembly elections approach, the cases of supply of illegal arms also increase, in such a situation, the police is taking utmost vigilance.
One accused escaped by dodging
Giving information, Inspector-in-Charge Ashutosh Kumar said that on Wednesday, on the information of the informer, while raiding the closed road plant on Baseda road in Barla, the accused Tamrej son Murtaza resident of village Bhaisarhedi police station Chhapar was arrested while making firearms. Village Tejalheda resident of Khurshid escaped by dodging the police.
Police got it all
Police have recovered 5 pistols 315 bore, two pistols 12 bore, six live cartridges, six half-made guns, six barrels 12 bore, eight barrels 315 bore, one drill machine, one welding machine, ten meter cable etc. Inspector-in-Charge said that the accused Tamrej has already been jailed in cases of murder, gangster, felony and illegal arms possession. While registering a case against the accused, the police has challaned him.
