In a virtual dialogue held on Sunday with 58,189 village heads across the state, CM Yogi Adityanath described the gram panchayats as the axis of prosperity of the country and the state and told the need to empower the panchayats more. He said that the present State Government not only made the Gram Panchayats financially empowered, but also strengthened them by giving them administrative powers for infrastructure development in the villages and giving administrative powers to the Panchayat representatives. According to the needs of the village and the sentiments of the Panchayat representatives, this work of empowerment of Panchayats will continue even after the assembly elections. These self-supporting, strong and modern panchayats will be the identity of the new UP. Along with appreciating the role of the princes as the head of the monitoring committee in the battle of Corona so far, he also made them feel responsible in the third wave.
