Lucknow. With the increase of corona virus infection in Uttar Pradesh along with the country, the Uttar Pradesh government has started the rescue work on the new variant Omicron gaining momentum. In this sequence, corona curfew will be imposed from Saturday night. The ban will start at 11 pm tonight.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to prevent the increasing infection of corona virus. In this sequence, Corona Night Curfew will be imposed from 11 pm to 5 am. In this also, essential services and industrial units will be exempted. The covid protocol is also being implemented. Under which a maximum of 200 people are allowed to attend marriage or any other wedding ceremony in closed places from Saturday.
Due to the re-activation of global epidemic corona virus infection, the state government has been forced to take the step of imposing night curfew in the state after 66 days. In a high-level meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to impose night corona curfew in the entire state from December 25. Night curfew will be in force from 11 pm to 5 am.
According to the instructions of the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has issued a mandate regarding imposition of night curfew in the state from Saturday. The government lifted the nightly corona curfew imposed on October 20 to prevent the second wave of corona infection. On that day, 11 new cases of corona were reported in the state, while the total number of active cases was 112.
A maximum of 200 people are allowed in closed places for marriage or any other function: According to the mandate, in wedding ceremonies and other events, a maximum of 200 people at a time in closed places and up to 50 percent of the capacity of the ground in open places, two yards to the invited guests. Involvement will be allowed with distancing, use of sanitizers and adhering to the COVID-19 protocol. Kovid help desk will have to be set up at the entrance. Organizers will compulsorily give written information about such programs to the district administration and police. They will also have the responsibility of following the Kovid protocol in the program.
Exemption to essential services, industrial units: During the period of night curfew, movement of essential services, goods vehicles, ambulances etc. will be allowed. Personnel associated with Kovid management, policemen and workers related to night industries will be allowed to move on the basis of their identity cards. All industrial units will also be completely exempted from night curfew. The Department of Home, Urban Development, Rural Development and Industrial Development will ensure the arrangement of Kovid Help Desk and Kovid Care Center in each industrial unit. Every day its report will be sent to the Industrial Development Department.
Mask mandatory in public places: Now it will be mandatory to apply mask in public places in the state. The district administration and police will continuously monitor it.
If there is no mask, then the customers will not get the goods: If there is no mask in the markets, the traders will be made aware with the message of no goods. It has been directed to ensure that the shopkeeper does not give the goods to the customer if he is not wearing a mask. Movement without masks in shopping malls/super markets will be restricted and will be allowed to be opened only with the requirement of masks, distance of two yards, arrangement of sanitizers and Kovid help desk.
RTPCR test mandatory for those coming from high risk countries: All the District Magistrates will ensure that the guidelines of the Central Government are followed for the travelers coming from abroad. Travelers from high-risk countries will be compulsorily subjected to RTPCR test. RTPCR test will be done by taking random samples of passengers coming from other countries.
Arrangement of Antigen Test at Railway and Bus Stations: All the District Magistrates will get their RTPCR test done after taking a report from the Monitoring Committee about the passengers coming from other states. Will ensure effective system of antigen testing at railway and bus stations. Taking the details of the suspected passengers, they will ensure the process of getting their RTPCR test done. It will be the responsibility of Additional Director General of Police, Railways to inform the Home Department about the screening proceedings at railway stations. Information about screening at bus stations will be made available by the Managing Director of Transport Corporation. The Managing Director of the UP Transport Corporation and the buses contracted therein and the Transport Commissioner will ensure compliance of the Kovid protocol in private buses.
Kovid protocol necessary in school-colleges: Managers and headmasters of school-colleges and educational institutions will ensure the availability of masks, physical distance and sanitizers among the students.
DM, SP and CMO will be present in the command center: In order to make people aware, instructions have been given to make the public address system more effective. The District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and Chief Medical Officer will be present at the Integrated Command and Control Center daily for tracking, testing and treatment of corona patients.
Activate monitoring committees: CM Yogi Adityanath has directed that in view of the third wave of corona virus infection, monitoring committees have been directed to be reactivated in villages and urban wards. In this regard, the Rural Development and Urban Development Department will issue immediate instructions in consultation with the Health Department, which will be monitored daily at the district level.
