Ayodhya. The health of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, very active since the time of Ram temple dispute in Ramnagari Ayodhya, has suddenly deteriorated on Sunday. Preparations are on to get him admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow due to difficulty in breathing. Rajiv Kapoor, the director of Medanta Hospital, has reached Ayodhya to check up on him. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, president of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Trust, is being brought from Ayodhya to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow.
The health of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, president of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, suddenly deteriorated on Sunday. After this, the team of doctors of the district hospital did a medical checkup of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, 82, is having trouble breathing. A team of doctors from Lucknow’s Medanta Hospital under the leadership of Director Rajiv Kapoor is also in Ayodhya. It is believed that after the checkup of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, he can be shifted to Medanta Hospital. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das complains of cough and excessive urine discharge along with shortness of breath. The oxygen level of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is also fluctuating.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das reached Ayodhya after recovering from Corona infection. He is very conscious about his health. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, who played an important role in the Ayodhya movement and president of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, got infected with the corona virus in the month of August last year. Nritya Gopal Das was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das of Maniram Das (small cantonment) in Ayodhya was born in Mathura. He is also the chairman of Krishna Janma Bhoomi Nyas along with Ram Janma Bhoomi Nyas. He goes to Mathura on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was born in 1938 in Kahola village of Barsana, Mathura. He had taken sannyas at the age of only 12 and came to Ayodhya from Mathura. In 1953 he took initiation from Ram Manohar Das at Mani Ram Das Cantonment in Ayodhya.
