Bulandshahr: In the case of fake encounter 19 years ago on NH-91 located in Secunderabad area, the Supreme Court has imposed an interim fine of seven lakh rupees on the state government. Instructions have also been issued to pay the fine by October 20. Secunderabad Police has arrested the then Kotwali Inspector Randhir Singh by forming four teams and raided them at different places.
Yashpal Singh, father of B.Tech student Pradeep Kumar, who was killed in the encounter, said that a month ago, the Supreme Court, while hearing the case of Yashpal Singh vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh on September 30, imposed an interim fine of Rs 7 lakh on the negligence of the state government. . With this, the next hearing will be held on October 20.

On the late night of 3 August 2002, the miscreants who were robbing a bus near village Adha Mor of Secunderabad area were challenged by the police. The miscreants opened fire on the police team. The then Kotwal Randhir Singh along with constable Jitendra Singh, Manoj, Shripal jeep driver, Satendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Totaram and Raghuraj fired on the miscreants. During this, three miscreants got out of the bus and started running towards Adha village. During this firing, Pradeep Kumar son Yashpal, a student of BTech, resident of village Sahapani, was killed due to bullet injuries. The police had called Pradeep Kumar a robber. Victim Yashpal had filed a case against eight policemen including the in-charge inspector. The investigation of this case was handed over to the CBCID. Some of the accused policemen surrendered themselves in court and two were arrested by the police and sent to jail.
Police kept lying in favor of CO
Victim Yashpal Singh told that Randhir Singh was made the CO of Moradabad city. From here, Randhir Singh was retired in 2019. In the case, the Moradabad police gave an affidavit in the CGM court withholding the salary of the accused CO. Originally in Agra and recent address 44, Avantika Kavinagar, Ghaziabad, the Secunderabad police have also taken attachment action, but Randhir Singh has not yet been caught by the police.
