Badaun. The warden of Kasturba School in Badaun threw seven girl students out of the hostel at midnight. The girl students alleged that the warden was forcing them to get their clothes washed. When he refused to wash the clothes, the warden’s anger flared up. He ordered the girls to come out at midnight.
The girls were forced to stand in the dark after coming out of the hostel. When the girls started going home, another school teacher stopped them and tried to pacify the warden’s anger. The case is of Kasturba School located in Chhutaiya, Ujhani. The girls allege that the warden often misbehaves with them. The girls have refused to study in the school. Officers are trying to convince them.
Parents created a ruckus
When the parents came to know about their daughters being thrown out of the hostel at midnight, they reached there and created a ruckus. He demanded action from the BSA against the warden. A parent said that when the girls started going home, they were stopped by another school teacher. He tried to pacify the warden’s anger. Somehow in the morning the information about the girl students being thrown out of school in the middle of the night came to their parents, then the parents reached the school. They staged a sit-in against the warden and demanded action. On information, the police of Ujhani Kotwali also reached.
Warden’s cleaning
On the other hand, Kasturba’s warden has denied the allegations against her. On the contrary, he alleged that the school staff was trying to instigate the girl students.
