Kanpur: A girl from Yashoda Nagar in Kanpur district has lodged an FIR against a youth of another community for gang-raping her brother and father by taking her hostage at home on the pretext of marriage. The victim somehow escaped from their clutches and reached her home.
The girl told that she used to work in a sari shop in the area, where a young man was already working. He had given his name as Aman. During the conversation, he proposed marriage. Both got ready and ran away from home. In this case, the brother had lodged a missing complaint in the police station. Meanwhile, Aman takes her to his house in April, where he learns that Aman’s real name is Anas Ansari. He had implicated her by changing her name and religion. During this, when she started running away, her family members kept her hostage at home by threatening to kill her. During this, Anas’s family harassed him a lot. It is alleged that along with Anas, his brother and father gang-raped together.
Burned hand with hot tongs on escape
The victim told that when she started losing her ability to bear the torture, on the morning of July 30, she started running away from Anas’s house with a bag. Anas’s mother caught him. After beating him with the family, his left hand was burnt with hot tongs. Late in the evening, she escaped after giving a chance and after reaching home narrated her ordeal to the family members. Inspector said that on the complaint of the victim, an FIR has been registered against Anas, her brother-father and mother under the section including gang-rape, assault, threats.
The magisterial statement did not say about conversion
Naubasta Inspector Satish Singh said that the magisterial statement of the victim was made in the case, where she did not say about conversion. Rather, the lover’s father has been accused of rape. He has been sent to jail.
