New Delhi. Two One Day International matches were played on 18 July, one match was played between Sri Lanka and India and the other match was played between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. After the results of these two matches, many major changes have been seen in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League Point Table. With the win, Bangladesh has further strengthened its position in the points table at number two, while Team India has made it to the top-5. Earlier India was ranked 9th. India added 10 points to their account by registering an impressive seven-wicket win against Sri Lanka, while Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by three wickets. Bangladesh currently has 70 points in its account, while India has a total of 39 points.

India has played seven matches so far, out of which they have won four, while the team has to face defeat in the remaining three. Each team gets 10 points for a win, if the result of the match is not good, if there is a cancellation or a tie, five points are distributed to both the teams. Not a single point is given for losing the match, while points are also deducted for slow over rate. England are on top with 9 wins from 15 matches. England has a total of 95 points in their account. Apart from England and Bangladesh, Australia and Pakistan are above India. If India wins the remaining two matches of this series, then it will reach the third position in the points table.
