Aligarh: Sasnigate Police has succeeded in nabbing a fake interstate call center operating in Mahendranagar of the area. From here, online fraud was being done in the name of giving offers along with the goods of well-known companies like Reebak. The police have arrested 11 members of this gang. Seven girls are also included in this. The police have recovered a large quantity of mobile, laptop, parcel, order seat etc. Police is still interrogating the arrested accused.
Raid on call center created panic
According to a police spokesperson, complaints were being received about people being cheated on the pretext of selling goods online in Sasnigate area for a long time. Taking this seriously, the teams were activated. On Sunday, there was panic when a team led by Inspector Sasnigate Govind Ballabh Sharma raided the news of the operation of a fake call center in Mahendranagar of the area. Four youths and seven girls, who were fleeing from here, were caught.
They got caught
The police arrested Armaan alias Amir, Shahnabaz and Ansar, residents of Nai Nagla of Sasni (Hathras), who operated the call center from here. Apart from this, Sumit Pachauri, resident of ITI Road, Ramnagar of Bannadevi, Sonia Singh, resident of Sindhauli, Gandhi Park, Garima, resident of Naurangabad Cantonment, Nisha Kumari of Naurangabad, Lal Mandir of Civil Line, Yashika Yadav, resident of Center Point, Asmita Sharma, resident of Pala Sahibabad of Sasnigate, Krishna Nidhi Sharma, resident of Vihar, Hemlata, resident of Mahendranagar have been arrested.
Used to pretend to offer with goods
The arrested accused told during interrogation that they used to make lucrative offers of the company to the customers by making a fake call center of Reebak company. He told that apart from giving the company’s T-shirt, violet, watch and shoes for Rs 6500, Redmi used to take orders by luring the company’s mobile phone for free. Which was sent to the customer’s address through cash on delivery and used to get the money deposited in the company’s onshape account. Sumit Pachauri used to supervise the girls and watch the packing. Shahnawaz, Aamir and Ansar together used to collect money by satisfying the selected customers by talking on mobile phones by cheating. In the parcel sent in the delivery of the order, they used to send cardboard instead of the goods. All the three fake call center operators used to prepare duplicate Aadhar cards and use them for SIM cards and other works, so that their real identity could not be identified.
The empire of fraud was spread in many states
According to the police, the web of fraud of the vicious is spread in the states of Bihar, Haryana, Maharashtra, Bengal, Punjab apart from Uttar Pradesh. Customers were being cheated online by giving them lucrative offers.

Police have recovered eight parcels, 42 order seats, 17 mobile phones, four Aadhar cards, two bank check books, one laptop, seven register customer number lists, seven speech letters and Rs 11,000 in cash from the accused. SP City Kuldeep Singh Gunawat said that a case of cheating has been registered against the accused in the case. He said that the Sciver and SOG teams are continuously giving efforts to nab the online fraudsters. Action is also being taken to freeze the bank accounts of the accused.
