Kushinagar. 200 people trapped in a boat coming from Diara area of Narayani Par district, adjacent to the Bihar border, were rescued and rescued on Friday morning. The DM and SP have been camping all night on the banks of the river.
On Thursday night, a big boat had gone across the river to rescue people trapped in Diara. While returning, the engine of the boat had run out of diesel in the middle of the river. The boat started flowing in the river and got stuck near a stumbling block in front of Amvadigar village, 5 km from Barwapatti Ghat. There District Magistrate S Rajalingam, SP Sachindra reached there at 11 pm. The team of NDRF SDRF reached the spot at around 5 in the morning, rescued the women, farmers and children.
This was the whole matter
People who went to do their farming in Diara area across the river under Barwapatti police station area were suddenly stuck due to excess water in one river. To bring them out, the boat owner took the boat and went in the night fearing the administration and while returning from there, the oil of the boat had run out in the middle of the river. It was difficult to save the people by going into the overflowing river with a small boat and all the administrative staff of the district, including the DM, remained spectators throughout the night. On the other hand, the people trapped in the river bank kept on screaming and shouting. After everyone was evacuated safely in the morning, the administration breathed a sigh of relief.
