Lucknow. In view of the situation of corona virus infection in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government is constantly increasing its vigor. The two-day weekly detention has been extended to four days, after three days. The first weekly detention was on May 3 and then on May 6. Now it has been increased to seven o’clock on Monday, May 10. As per the government’s decision, the lockdown has been extended by four more days. During this period, there will be complete closure, but shops of essential goods and essential services will continue.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been continuously expressing concern over the rise in Corona infection. The current strain of Kovid is constantly changing. It is 30 to 50 times more infectious than the first wave. To curb the uncontrollable corona infection, the government is now seen to be gradually increasing its strictness. After two days weekly detention for three days, the government has now reduced it to 7 am on May 10.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said in a meeting with team-9 that the government is constantly taking necessary steps to break the chain of corona infection. Statewide weekly detention is effective. It is being extended further. Now, partial corona curfew will remain in the state till 7 am on Monday. Necessary and compulsory services will continue in this period. Drugs, vegetable shops, industrial units etc. will continue to operate.
