Lucknow: Amidst the ever increasing transition of Corona in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has taken a big decision in the cabinet meeting. In the next phase of vaccination starting from May 1, free corona vaccine will be applied to all people above the age of 18 years. The central government on Monday decided to start a vaccination campaign for people above 18 years of age from May 1. Till now, the government was applying free vaccine only to people above 45 years. It was decided in the cabinet meeting that people above 18 years of age will be given Corona vaccine for free, but those who are competent and can pay the cost of the vaccine. It can also be appealed to them by the government to get vaccinated in private hospitals.
These decisions were taken in the cabinet
– In districts where 75 per cent of the patients are in home isolation as compared to the total patients, these patients should be provided seven days of medicine at their home in every condition.
– The number of existing beds in Kovid hospitals across the state will be doubled.
So far, the demand for oxygen has doubled in the state, so the Government of India will be demanded to provide 800 tonnes of oxygen at the earliest.
– The minister in charge of each district will go to his district and get rid of the shortage of health services, especially oxygen. Also, we will give the full report to the government. Apart from this, the quarantine center set up in the concerned district will be inspected.
Cleanliness campaign should be run on a large scale.
8th Amendment to the Corona Epidemic Act 2020
On Tuesday, the UP government has made the 8th amendment to the Corona Epidemic Act 2020. Let us tell you that according to this new amendment, now the amount of penalty has been fixed without leaving your face covered. According to this, no person will be able to get out of the house without a mask, skimmer, scarf wrapped, if he is found doing so then a penalty of ₹ 1000 has been provided on him. If you repeat this mistake i.e. if you are caught again without wearing a mask, then you will have to pay a fine of ₹ 10000. At the same time, the UP government has also imposed a fine of ₹ 500 for spitting in public place. The Penalty Tax has been included by amending the Pandemic Act.
