Dehradun. The government has become more cautious in view of increasing cases of corona infection in Uttarakhand. In this episode, a maximum limit of 200 persons has been fixed for participation in marriage ceremonies that take place outside the containment zone in the state. Chief Secretary Omprakash has issued orders in this regard. DMs of all districts have been asked to ensure strict compliance.
Like various states of the country, Uttarakhand has also seen a significant increase in cases of corona infection. This has increased the concern of the government and strict control has also been started in the wake of prevention of infection. Negative report of Corona’s RTPCR investigation up to 72 hours before arrival has been made mandatory for travelers coming to Uttarakhand from 12 states more susceptible to corona infection. The registration and negative report of RTPCR are also being strictly followed for coming to Kumbh running in Haridwar.
Along with this, the government has recently imposed night curfew in Dehradun Municipal Corporation area. Except Kalsi and Chakrata, it was decided to close schools of primary to secondary level in the entire Dehradun district, Haridwar district and municipal area Nainital and Haldwani municipal area till April 30. However, the students of 10th and 12th were exempted from this. Now the government has fixed the maximum limit for individuals to attend, as there is no overcrowding in marriage ceremonies.
According to the order issued in this regard by Chief Secretary Omprakash, now only 200 people will be able to attend the marriage ceremony. At the same time, in order to avoid corona, the mask must comply with the standards of safe physical distance. These orders will remain in effect till advance orders. In the past, the restrictions regarding the limit of individuals to attend marriage ceremonies were removed when the situation became normal for Corona.
