Bengaluru The Bangalore police arrested two Nigerian nationals and seized 3,300 narcotic pills and 600 grams of MDMA (methylenedoxy-methamphetamine) powder worth Rs 1 crore from them. Police said that apart from drugs, the police also seized a high-end car from them.
According to police, the accused have been identified as Donchaks Okeke aka Tam (39) and Celestine Anugawa aka Oma (40).
Police said that both the accused were living in Bengaluru for the last few years and they have not yet presented their legal passports and visas. Police said, both said that their passports had expired and they were staying in India illegally.
The Bangalore East Division police said in their statement that the pair were arrested while trying to sell the drug at a roadside tea stall behind Bagmane Tech Park in the town’s Byappanahalli.
