new Delhi . Six more passengers from two UK flights landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national capital were found to be Kovid-19 positive. Officials gave this information.
With this, the number of travelers coming to IGIA from Britain has now been 11, which has been found to be infected with Kovid-19 virus. On Tuesday, five travelers from Britain were found infected.
Apart from this, the officials also said that about 50 passengers have been sent by the government for institutional confinement (quarantine) as they were sitting near the positive passengers. However these 50 passengers were found corona negative at the airport.
Officials said that corona-positive patients will be referred to the Sardar Kovid Care Center in Chhatarpur. However, the institutional quarantine has not been disclosed by the authorities yet.
More than 470 passengers arriving at IGIA from two flights were tested at the airport.
