A surprising case has come to light from Bareilly, UP. Here a woman had accused her husband of secretly removing her kidney. The woman says that her husband got her kidney removed on the pretext of dressing her for the stone operation so that he could withdraw Rs 3 lakh as dowry. The woman alleges that her in-laws harass her for dowry.
The woman says that her in-laws had repeatedly demanded Rs 3 lakh in lieu of dowry. She was tortured in many ways, and her husband also beat her. The victim woman has appealed to the police for justice. The woman has lodged an FIR in the police station against her husband and five in-laws. The police have started investigating the case and the medical examination of the victim woman has also been done. The victim is a resident of Balli village of Shishgarh police station of Bareilly.
Kidney removed on the pretext of getting dressing done
The woman has alleged that her husband took her to the hospital on the pretext of getting her stomach dressing done, made her unconscious and removed her kidney and sold it. Married woman Pooja says that she was married to Harish Babu of Bareilly in the year 2017. At the time of marriage, her father had given dowry as per his capacity, but soon after the marriage, her dowry greedy in-laws started demanding cash and started beating her daily.

Many times the parents and in-laws sat down and made a compromise, but after some time the same situation would arise again. He told that he had stomach ache a few days ago. When he got checked from the doctor, it was found that he had stones in his stomach. Surgery was done for the stones and he was taken home safely. After a week, when she was brought back to the hospital for dressing, her husband took her signature on a form.
The woman appealed to the SSP for justice
The woman was made unconscious and taken to the operation theatre. After that he started having constant pain. Later the woman came to know that one of her kidneys had been removed. When the husband was discussed about this matter, the husband and in-laws used to calm down the matter by beating him up, but when he came home and got the medical done, it was confirmed that one kidney had been removed. The woman has appeared before the SSP and pleaded for justice. On the orders of SSP, a case has been registered against five people including the husband in Shahi police station.
