Meerut. Ganganagar police arrested the father who killed his son by stabbing him due to a domestic dispute. The police have also recovered blood stained clothes in the name of the murder accused. Sheetal alias Sakshi, a resident of Ishapur in Ganganagar police station area, had filed a case against her father-in-law Hawa Singh for the murder of her husband Deepak on May 2.
Hawa Singh was absconding after the case was registered. On Tuesday, the police arrested him. During police interrogation, Hawa Singh told that he had bought the knife used in the murder from Dehradun in 1999 while serving in the army. Some time ago he had a fight with Deepak regarding naming the house.
At that time the son had caught hold of her waist. Apart from this, he used to fight with his mother every day. Even on the day of the incident, Deepak was misbehaving with his mother. Angered by this, he stabbed Deepak to death.
SP City inspected Lohianagar police station
SP City Ayush Vikram Singh inspected Lohianagar police station on Tuesday. During this time he checked the registers including the Malkhana. Apart from this, the policemen were interrogated about the maintenance and operation of weapons. SP City asked about the vehicles caught by the police station involved in theft and accident. He instructed the police station in-charge to dispose of the pending investigations as soon as possible and to continuously patrol the area. SP City said that even the smallest incidents should be taken seriously and resolved immediately.
