Dehradun. State Congress Committee Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana said that there is neither any reshuffle in the organization nor the party is going to project anyone as Chief Minister. Two days ago, a statement was made by the state organization on behalf of his pro-leadership leaders to contest the 2022 elections under the leadership of former Chief Minister and Congress General Secretary Harish Rawat. Speaking to the media at the state Congress headquarters on Monday, he said that in 2022 the Congress government should be formed in the state, this should be the spirit of all party workers. The party high command should be left worried about who will become the chief minister. From now on, the wrong message is being sent to the public by arguing that the whole concern is about becoming Chief Minister. Dhasmana’s remarks are being seen as a backlash against the former Chief Minister Harish Rawat camp.
Dhasmana said that at this time the entire focus of the party organization is on the mass public struggle against important issues related to public unemployment and inflation. State President Pritam Singh is visiting the entire state for this purpose. Every section of the state is angry with the youth, students, women and anti-farmer policies of the Trivendra government today. Everyone is holding hope from Congress. Pritam Singh’s first priority is to form the Congress government in line with public expectations. On the other hand, in his post on the internet media, State Congress President Pritam Singh targeted the central government for the farmers’ movement in Delhi. He said that the party rallied with the farmers to protest the Central Agricultural Bills.
No factionalism, united party elections: Harish Rawat
Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that the Congress is fully united in the 2022 elections. The former chief minister denied factionalism in response to media questions about the war of supremacy and factionalism in the organization before the election. He said that the party will contest elections firmly. Regarding the demand of his supporters to hand over leadership to him in the election, he said that there is no such thing. He respects the spirit of the people connected to him.
