Police have arrested the accused after identifying the body of an unknown girl found in a trolley bag in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The murderer of the girl turned out to be none other than her lover. After killing her in the room, the accused put the body in a trolley bag and took it to JCs Chowk with the help of an e-rickshaw, then took the bag off the e-rickshaw, put it on his head and threw it in the bushes near the drain. CCTV footage of the accused throwing the body in the trolley bag has also surfaced.
In fact, on Friday, a young man saw half the body of a woman in a red trolley bag in the drain next to Kamala Hospital near JCs Chowk in Nagar Kotwali area. After this, he informed the police about it. When the police reached the spot and opened the bag, they found the body of an unknown woman in it. The body had started rotting due to being two-three days old. Solving the mystery of the unknown body and murder had become a challenge for the Jaunpur police. However, the police exposed the murder within a few hours and identified the girl and then arrested the accused lover.
The girl was a resident of Varanasi
The accused lover Vishal Sahni who carried out the crime is a resident of Mudadev village of Rohania police station area of Varanasi. The girlfriend was also a resident of the same village. The love affair was going on between the two for a long time. The girl got married somewhere else but despite that the closeness between the two did not decrease. Due to this the marriage broke. After this the girl started living with her lover. The girl used to work in a shopping mall while living in a rented house in Jaunpur. Her lover also used to come and go regularly.
Murdered in a minor quarrel
The accused Vishal, who was arrested by the police, told that he was going to Varanasi from his girlfriend on 24 February, but she was not letting him go. There was an argument between the two regarding this matter. After this Vishal hit his girlfriend due to which she fell and died. After committing the murder, the accused used a trolley bag to dispose of the girlfriend’s body on February 25. The accused put the girlfriend’s body in the trolley bag, locked the room and went to throw it away. The accused brought the body from the rented house near Machhli Padav on an e-rickshaw to JCs Chowk. CCTV footage of which has also surfaced. After getting off the e-rickshaw, the accused also paid the fare to the driver, then went to throw the trolley bag on foot with the trolley bag on his head. He fled after throwing the trolley bag in the drain on the side of the highway near Kamla Hospital.
CCTV revealed
Jaunpur police had appealed to the people to identify the unknown girl by sharing her pictures on social media. Along with this, with the help of CCTV and surveillance, the investigation of those who threw the trolley bag started. Within a few hours, the police identified the woman and arrested the accused lover. Jaunpur’s Additional Superintendent of Police Arvind Kumar Verma said that the lover had killed his girlfriend and dumped her body in a trolley bag. With the help of CCTV, the accused has been arrested and sent to jail. Other necessary actions are being taken.
