Pakistan is hosting an ICC tournament after many years. Pakistan is the host of the ICC Champions Trophy which started on 19 February. But the first semi-final match of the tournament will be played in Dubai. Even the final match of the Champions Trophy will be held in Dubai on 9 March if the Indian team wins its semi-final match.
India is playing all its matches in the Champions Trophy at the Dubai International Stadium. This is the reason why a semi-final match has also been organized here. As soon as India enters the final, the final will also be decided in Dubai. Host Pakistan has already been eliminated from the tournament. Pakistanis are very hurt by the dominance of BCCI on world cricket. Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has appealed to the cricket boards of all countries not to send their players to the IPL.

Inzamam-ul-Haq said on a TV show, “You can keep Champions Trophy aside but still you should watch IPL. All the top players of the world come and play in IPL. Indian players do not go to play in any league. All the boards should stop sending their players to IPL. If you do not allow your players to go to any league, then other boards should also take a stance.”
All the big cricketers of the world play in IPL. Many times foreign players give priority to IPL matches instead of national ones. Apart from IPL, many other T20 leagues are played around the world. But BCCI does not allow its players to go and play in those leagues. An Indian player can play in any foreign league only after retirement (even from IPL).
Talking about Pakistan, their players are banned from playing in IPL. Although many Pakistani players played in the first edition of the tournament, after the terrorist attack in Mumbai, Pakistani players were banned from playing in the IPL.
