Mahakumbhnagar. Medical colleges will be built on the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in Hathras, Baghpat and Kasganj in the state. The cabinet has also approved the selection of private institutions for the construction of medical colleges in all three districts on Wednesday.
They will also be given financial assistance under the Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of the Central Government. At present, people will get better medical and health services in these districts. At the same time, people will also get employment due to recruitment on the posts of educational and non-educational cadre.
Medical college will be built in Hathras at a cost of 117
Tender was invited to build a medical college on PPP model. Many private institutions participated in it. Rajshree Educational Trust has been selected to establish a medical college in Hathras. It will be constructed with Rs 117.10 crore.
Rajshree Educational Trust has also been selected to establish a medical college in Kasganj. An amount of Rs 138.90 crore will be spent on the construction of this medical college.
Medical college will be built in Baghpat at a cost of 101 crore
Jaipal Singh Sharma Trust will establish a medical college in Baghpat. This trust will build a medical college by spending Rs 101 crore. Now including these, medical colleges are either established or are to be constructed in 69 districts of the state.
Now tenders will be invited soon to build medical colleges on PPP model in the remaining six districts Rampur, Bhadohi, Chitrakoot, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ballia and Shravasti. Then the target of one district one medical college will be achieved.
CM Yogi held a cabinet meeting in Mahakumbh
