Lucknow: Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has given the gift of promotion to IPS officers on a large scale. According to the information received, 52 IPS officers have got the benefit of promotion. This includes IPS officers of different batches. 1992 batch IPS officer Deepesh Juneja has been promoted to the post of DG. Along with this, a total of 3 IPS officers of 2000 batch including Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh have been promoted to the post of ADG. Also, 9 IPS officers of 2007 batch, 25 of 2011 batch and 13 IPS officers of 2012 batch have got the gift of promotion on the new year.
The government has promoted three senior officers of 2000 batch to the post of Additional Director General of Police i.e. ADG. This includes the names of Laxmi Singh, Prashant Kumar II and Neelabja Chaudhary. Along with this, 9 IPS officers of 2007 batch have been promoted from DIG to IG. These include Geeta Singh, Jogendra Singh, Amit Pathak, Ravi Shankar Chhabi, Vinod Kumar Singh, Bharti Singh, Vipin Kumar Mishra, Rakesh Pratap Singh and Yogesh Singh. All these officers have received the gift of promotion on the new year.
Apart from this, 25 IPS of 2011 batch have been promoted to the post of DIG. These include the names of IPS Shailesh Kumar Pandey, Ajay Kumar, Abhishek Singh, Devranjan Verma, Rajesh S, Hemant Kutiyal, Shalini, Swapnil Mamgai, D. Pradeep Kumar, Arun Kumar Srivastava, Surya Kant Tripathi, Vikas Kumar Vaidya, Rajesh Kumar Saxena and Dr. Arvind Chaturvedi.
Along with this, IPS of 2011 batch Alok Priyadarshi, Sunita Singh, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Sudha Singh, Dinesh Singh, Kamala Prasad Yadav, Arvind Kumar Maurya, Rambadan Singh, Tej Swaroop Singh, Subhash Chandra Shakya and Hydesh Kumar have also been promoted to the post of DIG. At the same time, 1992 batch IPS Deepesh Juneja has been promoted to the post of DG. After the retirement of DG CBI CID SN Sabat, Dinesh Juneja has been promoted to the post of DG.
Along with this, Dr. Dharamveer Singh of 2010 batch has also been promoted to the post of DIG. At the same time, many IPS officers of 2012 batch have also got the gift of promotion.
Around 13 IPS of this batch have been given selection grade. This includes the names of Vijay Dhul, Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, Ashish Tiwari, Sachindra Patel, Vipin Tada, Pratap Gopendra Yadav. Also, IPS Abhishek Yadav, Sankalp Sharma, Somen Verma, Yamuna Prasad, Santosh Kumar Mishra, Hemraj Meena and Rajkaran Iyer of 2012 batch have also been promoted. Let us tell you, this was approved in the meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee on 21st December and now after the permission of the Governor, its formal order has been issued.
