Muzaffarnagar. The girlfriend, upset with the engagement, cut off her boyfriend’s genitals with a paper cutter. The seriously injured boyfriend was referred to Meerut from the district hospital. The police have not received the complaint yet but the police have taken the girlfriend into custody. Both are residents of the same village and belong to the Muslim community.
The Muslim couple, residents of a village in Charthaval police station area, were in a love relationship for eight years. Both had vowed to live together. The relatives of both were also aware of this and they had tried to convince both of them a lot, because both live in the same street. A month ago, the boyfriend’s relatives had arranged his engagement with a girl from a town in Meerut district.
On Saturday, the girlfriend talked about meeting her boyfriend for the last time. It is said that on Sunday morning, the boyfriend left the village at eight in the morning in a WagonR and made the girlfriend sit with him on the way. Both first had food in a hotel and after that the lovers reached a room in a guest house near Kamal Talkies in Civil Lines police station area.
The girlfriend had a cutter
It is said that when both were in an objectionable position at 3:30, the girlfriend cut the boyfriend’s genitals with a paper cutter that she had brought with her. In the scuffle, the girlfriend’s hand also got hurt by the cutter. When the boyfriend shouted, people from the vicinity came. They informed the police. The police took both of them to the district hospital.
Police officers reached the district hospital
ASP and CO City Vyom Bindal and Civil Lines police station in-charge Ashutosh Kumar Singh reached the district hospital and after questioning both of them, informed the Charthaval police station to inform the relatives of both. After first aid, the doctors referred the boyfriend to Meerut after seeing his condition. After providing first aid to the girlfriend, the police took him into custody.
No one has given a complaint
Civil Lines police station in-charge Ashutosh Kumar Singh said, no one has given a complaint in this regard yet. The girl also got injured when the cutter hit her hand during the scuffle. After first aid, the girl is in police custody. He has stated the age of the girl as 22 years and the age of the boy as 24 years. Both belong to the same caste and are from the Muslim community.
