A horrific road accident has taken place in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. 11 people from the bride’s side, who had come from Khatima in Uttarakhand to Pilibhit to attend a wedding reception party, became victims of a road accident while returning. While returning from the reception, a speeding car lost control and hit a tree near Newaria town on Pilibhit Tanakpur Highway and then fell into a ditch.

Actually, a girl from Khatima district of Uttarakhand got married in Chandoi town of Pilibhit. Her reception party was on Thursday. 11 people from the bride’s side had come in a car from Khatima to attend the wedding. All the people were returning after attending a party late at night, when their car collided with a tree near Newaria town on Pilibhit Tanakpur highway. The collision was so strong that the car rolled and fell into a ditch. After the accident, the car was shattered.
The injured and the dead were taken out of the car
The people in the car were trapped in it. Hearing the sound of the collision, people from the vicinity reached the spot. They informed the Newaria police about the incident. After this, the police reached the spot and with the help of local people, took out all the injured from the car. By then five people had died while 6 people were seriously injured.
