Shiva Nagar, a resident of Chhibramau Kanshiram Colony, was arrested by the police nine months ago for drug trafficking and sent to jail. At the same time, Anshu Gihar, a resident of Bindki town of Fatehpur district, was sent to jail a year ago on charges of theft.
Assistant Defense Council Mohammad Saif advocated for both the prisoners on behalf of the District Legal Services Authority. Shiva Nagar was fined one thousand rupees. Being an orphan, no one paid the fine. Due to this he was forced to be imprisoned in jail.

Anshu was in jail for three months as he did not have a bail bond
Similarly, Anshu Gihar’s bail was approved, but he was in jail for three months as he did not have a bail bond. On the occasion of Constitution Day on Tuesday, Lovely Jaiswal, full-time secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, collected a fine of one thousand rupees from an organization for the release of Shiva Gihar and got Anshu Gihar released on Constitution Day on Tuesday without a bail bond.
Full-time secretary Lovely Jaiswal said that both the prisoners were released. Outside the jail gate, both the prisoners took a pledge not to commit any crime in future. During this, Shiva Nagar got emotional and started dancing.
At the same time, Shiva Nagar said that his parents had passed away. He had become a criminal after falling into bad company, but he was released due to the efforts of the District Legal Services Authority. Due to this, he will not commit any crime in future.
Inspected the jail
State Women Commission member Pushpa Pandey inspected the district jail. Interrogated the women prisoners lodged in the women barracks. Enquired the women prisoners about their problems. No problems of any kind were reported by them. During the inspection, the cleanliness system of the women compound was satisfactory.
