Hyderabad: The 52nd International Emmy Awards 2024 was held on 25 November at New York Hilton Meadows (US). Many TV celebrities made their presence felt on the night of the award function and there was a lot of glamour. The Emmy Awards 2024 was hosted by India’s stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das. It is a matter of great pride for the country that an Indian artist hosted this prestigious award show. Vir Das won his first Emmy Award in the year 2023 and after two years he got a chance to host the show.
Let us tell you, the Emmy Awards are organized by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS). In this event, 56 artists from 21 countries got nominations in 14 categories. It had categories like Drama Series, Comedy, Documentary, Best Actor, Best Actress, Arts Programming, Kids Programming and many more. From India, Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer ‘The Night Manager’ got a nomination in the drama series, but it could not win.

India at Emmy Awards 2024
Let us tell you, Indians had high expectations from The Night Manger. The Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala starrer film got a nomination, which was competing with the French drama series Les Gouttes de Dieu (Drops of God).
