Anupriya Patel, who was in the headlines after giving a statement regarding Raja Bhaiya amid the Lok Sabha elections 2024, has got a shock. National General Secretary of Apna Dal SK, Dr. Raghavendra Pratap Singh resigned from the party alleging neglect of the upper castes.
There is huge anger among the upper caste community due to objectionable remarks.
Let us inform that in protest against giving ticket to the daughter-in-law of Apna Dal (S) MP Pakori Lal, the party’s national general secretary Raghavendra Pratap Singh has resigned from the primary membership of the party. Singh alleged that Robertsganj (SU) MP Pakaudi Kol had made objectionable remarks on Kshatriya and Brahmin communities. He said that there is a lot of resentment in the upper caste community due to the objectionable remarks and there is dissatisfaction in the society due to giving ticket to his daughter-in-law Rinki Kol, in view of which it is no longer appropriate for him to remain in the party.
Neglect of upper castes in Apna Dal S
After resigning from Apna Dal, Raghavendra Pratap Singh said that any party is for the entire society. Apna Dal S is not like that. No one is born into a predetermined caste. We are Rajputs. We have done it for the entire society. But in Apna Dal S the upper castes are neglected. Hurt by this, we have resigned. He further said that we met the National President several times regarding the displeasure of the upper castes, but he did not pay attention to it. There is no one to listen to our problem. In such a situation, there is no justification for staying in the party.
Pakori had made controversial remarks
It is noteworthy that Robertsganj MP Pakaudi Lal Kol had made controversial remarks about Brahmins and Kshatriyas a few years ago. After this there was a lot of opposition to it. Pakaudi Coal later denied the statement for damage control. However, there was a lot of opposition to Pakodi Kol in Sonbhadra. This time Apna Dal S has expressed confidence in his daughter-in-law Rinki Kol. After that Anupriya Patel commented about Raja Bhaiya. After this, Raghavendra resigned, accusing him of being an anti-upper caste party.
Kunda is no one’s property
Recently, without taking the name of Raja Bhaiya, Anupriya Patel said that Kunda is not anyone’s property. The people of Kunda have told this. This country is now run by the Constitution and not by anyone’s rule. The self-proclaimed kings feel that Kunda is their fiefdom. The opportunity has come to break this illusion. Now a king is born from the button of EVM. It is in the hands of the voters to make a king or a pauper. He further said that goons and mafia are trembling under the BJP government.
