Ghaziabad Murder: In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the accused of murder of Tata Steel business head Vinay Tyagi has been killed by the police in an encounter. While one of the accused fled from the spot taking advantage of the darkness. This encounter took place in Ghaziabad area at around 4 am this morning. Where the police killed the accused Akki alias Daksh in an encounter. A sub inspector was also shot in this encounter.
Police said that accused Akki was murdered after robbing Vinay Tyagi, business head of Tata Steel, in Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad on the night of 3 May. Vinay Tyagi’s body was recovered from a drain in Rajendra area of Sahibabad. There was a stir in the area after this murder. The accused was wanted in this case.
Police killed in encounter
Accused Akki was a resident of Seelampur area of Delhi. During checking early this morning, when the police tried to stop two youths coming on a bike, they opened fire, after which the police surrounded them and tried to stop them. In the firing that took place from both sides, one accused was injured by a police bullet, while a police sub-inspector was also shot. The accused criminal died during treatment.
Giving information about this, ACP Dinesh Kumar said that during checking, the police had stopped two miscreants. During this time he started firing. One of our sub-inspectors has also been injured in this encounter. One miscreant managed to escape by taking advantage of the opportunity.
He said that the accused was recently absconding in a murder case after robbing Tata Steel business head Vinay Tyagi in Shalimar Garden area. The police was looking for them since this incident. A mobile phone and an illegal weapon have been seized from the miscreant.
