Prayagraj: After the Umesh Pal murder case, all the police encounters are being investigated. A judicial commission has been constituted to investigate. A two-member judicial commission team has come today to investigate the two encounters in Prayagraj’s Kaundhiyara and Dhoomanganj.
Commission constituted to investigate the encounter
A judicial commission has been constituted to probe the killing of Asad’s driver Arbaaz and shooter Vijay Chowdhary alias Usman in two encounters in Prayagraj. The two-member judicial inquiry commission team includes retired High Court judge Rajeev Lochan Mehrotra and retired DG Vijay Kumar Gupta.
Some time ago the team of the Judicial Commission has reached the encounter site in Kaundhiyara. On March 6, shooter Vijay Chowdhary alias Usman was killed in an encounter in Kaundhiyara area. Please inform that Vijay Chowdhary alias Usman had fired the first shot at Umesh Pal.
The Judicial Commission team is taking information about the scene of the incident at the encounter site. The media has been stopped 100 meters away from the crime scene. After Kondhiyara, the judicial commission team can also go to Nehru Park forest of Dhumanganj.
Arbaaz was killed in an encounter at Nehru Park by Crime Branch and Dhumanganj police on February 27 after killing Umesh Pal and two government gunners. Arbaaz was the driver of the Creta car in the Umesh Pal shootout.
The government has also constituted a judicial commission to investigate the Asad and Mohammad Ghulam encounter in Jhansi on April 13. Apart from this, a 5-member judicial commission team is also probing the mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf murder cases on April 15.
