The dates for the Uttar Pradesh civic elections have been announced. The UP Election Commission told that the civic elections in UP are to be held for two days, in which voting will be held on May 4 and 11. Along with this, the results of this election will be released on May 13. Voting is to be held in two phases for the UP civic elections. In the first phase, voting will be held in 9 mandals in which Saharanpur, Moradabad, Agra, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Devipatan, Gorakhpur, Varanasi are. Along with this, voting is to be held in 9 mandals in the second phase as well. Which includes Meerut, Aligarh, Kanpur, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Basti, Azamgarh and Mirzapur.
The date of public notice has been announced by the District Magistrate/District Election Officer (Panchayat and Urban body) for the UP civic body elections. In which the District Magistrate/District Election Officer will issue information for the first phase on April 10 and for the second phase of elections, information will be issued on April 16. Along with this, the date of filling and submission of nomination papers is from April 11 to April 17 for the first phase of elections. Along with this, the election for the second phase is from April 17 to April 24.
Candidates will get symbols on this day
On the other hand, the date of withdrawal of nominations for civic body elections is April 20 for the first phase and April 27 for the second phase. Along with this, the candidates for the first phase will get symbols on April 21 and for the second phase on April 28. This time elections are to be held in 17 Municipal Corporations, 199 Municipalities and 544 Nagar Panchayats. There are 43231827 voters for this election out of which 22983728 are male voters and 20248099 are female voters.

Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Agra, Firozabad, Mathura, Mainpuri, Jalaun, Lalitpur, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Unnao, Hardoi, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Sitapur in the first phase for UP civic elections Elections will be held in Lakhimpur, Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, Shravasti, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Jaunpur districts.

In the second phase, Meerut, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Aligarh, Kanpur, Farrukhabad, Etawah, Kannauj, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Hamirpur, Chitrakoot, Mahoba Elections are to be held in Banda, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Ambedkarnagar, Barabanki, Amethi, Basti, Santakbirnagar, Siddharthnagar, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi, Mirzapur districts.
