People are facing a lot of problems due to pollution in Delhi-NCR. Everyone is troubled by pollution, but its effect can be more on children. In such a situation, orders have been given to run classes from class 1 to 8 in Gautam Buddha Nagar through online medium. For the time being, this arrangement will be compulsorily applicable till November 8. An order has been issued regarding this. It has also been said in the order that online classes can also be conducted for students from class 9th to 12th.
According to the order issued by Gautam Budh Nagar District School Inspector (DIOS) Dharamveer Singh, schools have been told that if possible, classes IX to XII should also be made online. In the order, there is a complete ban on outdoor activities like sports and prayer meetings. Singh said, “All schools are directed to conduct online education up to class VIII. They have also been asked to conduct classes from ninth to 12th through online medium if possible.
At present, no decision has been taken regarding schools in Delhi adjoining Noida. On Friday (November 4), Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has called a high level meeting. In such a situation, it will be kept an eye on what is decided regarding the schools. However, BJP and Congress have demanded from the Delhi government that schools in the capital should be kept closed in view of pollution. On Thursday, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) asked the Delhi government to keep schools closed till the air pollution situation in the national capital improves.
