Gorakhpur. By breaking the lock of the closed house of the pathology operator, the thieves took away cash, jewelry and items worth Rs 45 lakh. Police arrived with forensic and dog squad team is investigating the matter.

Jaiprakash Shukla, a resident of Basdila village of Chaurichaura, runs a pathology center in Singhadiya. His wife is a librarian in a college in Deoria. For 10 years, he lives with his family after constructing a house in Khorabar. On Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock he left the house with his wife. After making his wife sit on the bus going to Deoria, he went to his pathology center. Jayaprakash reached the house at four o’clock in the evening and opened the lock on the main door and when he reached inside, the cupboard and bed were found broken. The thieves who entered inside by breaking the lock of the back door of the house took away the cash, jewelry and items kept in the cupboard.
Police started investigation
Jaiprakash gave information about the incident on dial 112. He told the Khorabar police station that the son is to be married in January. Its preparation is going on for a month. He had already bought jewelry for the wedding. Inspector-in-Charge Police Station Khorabar Kalyan Singh Sagar said that a receipt has been sought from Jaiprakash Shukla for the stolen jewellery.
The theft took place at the soldier’s house on Monday
On Monday night, Uttar Pradesh Police chief constable Bhuneshwar Singh took away cash and jewelry by breaking the lock of his house in Karamhiya Tola of Siktaur under Khorabar police station area. The family members had gone to a village located in Deoria district for Chhath Puja. On getting information about the incident on Tuesday, son Vishal Singh had given a complaint to the police.
Two arrested including the history sheeter who robbed 1.96 lakh from the agent
The history-sheeter and his accomplice, who robbed Rs 1.96 lakh from the agent of the finance company, were arrested by the Belghat police station on Wednesday. 60 thousand rupees of robbery, bike and pistol used in the incident were recovered from the possession of the accused. Two accomplices of the history sheeter involved in the incident were arrested by the police 14 days ago and sent to jail. SP South Arun Kumar Singh said that on October 11, four miscreants riding two bikes robbed the agent of the finance company near Belav village and robbed Rs 1.96 lakh. After registering a case, the Belghat police investigated with the help of vigilance. That Yogendra Chauhan alias Yogi, a resident of Purnaha village, the history-sheeter of the police station, has committed the crime together with his colleagues.
Adarsh Singh and Karan, who were involved in the incident, were arrested by the police on October 18 and sent to jail. The search was on for the main accused Yogendra Chauhan. On Wednesday morning, with the help of crime branch, the Belghat police station arrested Yogendra Chauhan from the house of Dheeraj, a resident of Hariharpur Bankati village in Uruwan. SP South said that 21 cases of robbery, theft, Arms Act, attempt to murder, gangster and Arms Act have been registered against Yogendra. He was hiding in Dheeraj’s house after robbing the agent. Search is on for another accused involved in the incident.
