Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the temple construction committee, also visits Ayodhya regularly to take stock of the construction work.

Will be ready before December 2023
The construction work of Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya is going on on a war footing. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is confident that the temple will be ready before December 2023. The general secretary of the trust, Champat Rai said that the plinth of the temple has been completed in five layers, 15 feet high. Above this, the layer of stones of the main temple has stood about 15 feet high.

Earlier, the construction of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple had started from June. Now its marble pillars have stood. Apart from this, pillars of stones are now standing in the area of the entire plinth.
Champat Rai Bansal said that work has been affected due to rain, which has started again this week. Here the water from the water logging is taken out by the pump. Champat Rai said that in the grand temple, Ramlala will be established in the auspicious time of Makar Sankranti in January 2024 and Ramlala’s darshan will be started for the devotees.
Rs 1,800 crore will be spent on temple construction
According to the officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, it is estimated that Rs 1,800 crore will be spent on the construction of Shri Ram temple. The trust has also decided to make space for idols of prominent Hindu saints and main characters of the Ramayana period in the temple premises. For this quality granite stones have been procured from the mines of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
Officials said that due to the weight and large size of the stones, it was difficult to bring them from the roads. The cooperation of Container Corporation of India and Indian Railways was taken for the transportation of granite stones. A green corridor was built for the transportation of stones, due to which the construction time of the platform has been reduced by two months. Now the work has picked up pace.
