Lucknow. Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary will visit Lucknow for the first time on Monday after being appointed as the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Party workers have saffronised the entire capital to welcome the newly appointed state president.
The city of Lucknow has been flooded with hoardings, banners and party flags. Bhupendra Chaudhary will reach Lucknow on Monday afternoon by Shatabdi Express from New Delhi. Party workers have also made preparations to welcome Chaudhary at the stations falling between New Delhi and Lucknow.
On the first arrival in Lucknow, the journey route from Charbagh railway station to Atal Chowk in Hazratganj has been decorated with pylon gates and flags. Party workers have decorated the statue sites of great men. On the Yatra route, party officials, state government ministers, commission, corporation board presidents and members and a large number of workers have made preparations for a historic welcome by showering flowers on the new state president and garlanding him in groups.
The state office of BJP has also been prepared to receive Chaudhary with a grand stage and decorations. State General Secretary of BJP Subrata Pathak told that on arrival in Lucknow, Chaudhary Deendayal Upadhyay will proceed towards the state office headquarters of the party along with the leaders and workers of the party after paying floral tributes to the leader of Antyodaya on Smritika.
After offering flowers to the statue of Maharana Pratap on the way, he will pay homage at the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Lok Bhavan. After this, while paying homage to the statue of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh and then Maharani Avanti Bai on the yatra route, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar at Atal Chowk and Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at GPO Park will reach the BJP state headquarters by paying floral tributes.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, outgoing State President Swatantra Dev Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh, along with Union Government ministers and national office bearers of the party will also be present in the party’s state office.
