Lucknow. The Bharatiya Janata Party, which has set a target of winning 75 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, is serious about each seat. It can be gauged from this that the by-elections for the two Lok Sabha seats of Rampur and Azamgarh have also geared up to throw full force. A total of 40 star campaigners have been made, in which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh along with Union ministers, state government ministers, MPs and organization officials have been appointed.
SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, who won from Karhal seat of Mainpuri in the assembly elections, left the MP from Azamgarh, while Mohd was elected MLA from Rampur Sadar. Azam Khan left Rampur Lok Sabha seat. Due to this, by-elections are being held in both the parliamentary seats. BJP has nominated Ghanshyam Lodhi from Rampur and Bhojpuri star Dinesh Lal ‘Nirhua’ from Azamgarh. Due to the high Yadav-Muslim vote, the SP has been considered comparatively strong here. In such a situation, BJP has also made up its mind to put full force here.
The list of star campaigners of the party released on Thursday has prepared the ground for the thrill of this by-election. Apart from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Union Ministers include Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Prof. SP Singh Baghel, Kaushal Kishore, Pankaj Chaudhary and BL Verma will be the star campaigners.
Among the ministers of the state government are Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, BJP State President Swatantradev Singh, Surya Pratap Shahi, Dharampal Singh, Babyrani Maurya, AK Sharma, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Anil Rajbhar, JPS Rathor, Dayashankar Singh, Asim Arun, Girish Yadav, Jaswant Singh Saini, Baldev Aulakh and Vijay Laxmi Gautam have been entrusted with the responsibility of publicity.
Similarly, Vinod Sonkar, Ravi Kishan, Sakaldeep Rajbhar, Harinarayan Rajbhar, Praveen Nishad, Ravindra Kushwaha and Sangeeta Yadav will campaign among the MPs. Senior leaders of the organization will also sweat in the campaign. Apart from Radha Mohan Singh himself, the co-in-charges Sunil Ojha, Sanjeev Chaurasia, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma, State General Secretary Anoop Gupta, West Regional President Mohit Beniwal, Gorakhpur Region President Dharmendra Singh are also in this list.
