Kushinagar. In Narayanpur Kothi of Patherwa, a bullion trader was brutally murdered by slitting his throat. The businessman’s body was found covered in blood in the shop. The shop has been found open, due to which it is feared that the miscreants robbed the jewelery and cash etc. Police and dog squad team investigated and collected necessary evidence from the spot. The businessmen were originally residents of Deoria district. After inspecting the spot, the SP has directed to expose the murder case soon.

It is being told that 50-year-old Jairam Verma, a resident of Ramgoolam Tola of Deoria Sadar, used to run a jewelery shop in Narayanpur Kothi for the last seven years. He lived in the shop. As usual, at eight o’clock on Monday night, he closed the shop and went to eat food at a nearby hotel. After a walk around 10 o’clock he watched the TV in the shop for some time. Then he slept with a cot outside the shop. When the shop did not open till eight o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, the nearby shopkeepers gave voice to them but did not get any answer. When the shopkeeper reached the shop, he saw that the shutter fell and the lock was open. Seeing the shutter open, the shopkeepers feared something untoward and when they lifted the shutter, they were stunned to see the scene inside.
Dead body found in the shop
The businessman’s body was lying in a pool of blood. This news spread throughout the market. A crowd of people gathered outside the shop. People informed the police about it. SHO Akhilesh Singh reached the shop with the police force. After investigation, the body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The relatives of the deceased were informed. The incident has been carried out by hitting the businessman’s neck with a sharp weapon. SP Dhaval Jaiswal said that SWAT team has also been deployed along with Patherwa police. Police is investigating keeping all the aspects in mind. The incident will be exposed soon.
