Saharanpur. The Qutubsher police station has arrested a youth who made people a victim of fraud by changing religion. The accused youth is a Muslim, while he used to become a Hindu and sometimes a Christian. While living in Delhi, he used to call himself a soldier of Delhi Police Crime Branch. In the name of selling bars and cement by opening a fake construction company, he has cheated many people of Saharanpur of lakhs of rupees.
SP City Rajesh Kumar said that the arrested accused Robin son Ahsan is a resident of village Lilaun in Shamli district. On Tuesday, he was arrested by the Qutubsher police station from the drain track near Ambala Road bridge. Many people of Qutubsher area had filed a case against him on charges of cheating. He had cheated three and a half lakh rupees from a person on the pretext of getting bars and cement.
On investigation, it was found that the accused Robin is a Muslim. He lives in Delhi as a Hindu. Every year he also organizes ‘Mata Ka Jagran’ in Delhi and collects donations from Hindu families in her name. The police have also found a fake ID of a Delhi Police Crime Branch constable from the accused. Apart from this, the ID of a newspaper has also been found. After coming to Uttar Pradesh, the accused Robin used to call himself a journalist.
Photos of 10 to 12 Hindu girls found in mobile
According to the police, the accused Robin is married. Photos of many Hindu girls have been found in his mobile phone. The police estimate that he used to implicate Hindu girls as well. However, so far the name of only one girl has come to the fore, with whom the accused had befriended by becoming a Hindu. This girl is a resident of Shamli district.

Qutubsher police station in-charge said that a case of cheating was registered against the accused Robin four months ago. Since then the police was looking for the accused. The mobile number of the accused Robin, which was told by the victim who filed the case, was also traced, but the accused kept changing his SIM card repeatedly. WhatsApp chat has also been found in the mobile of the accused, in which people are asking for their money from him.
