Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who has given the mantra of Reform, Perform and Transform to his ministers, has made it clear that the officers sitting in responsible positions will also have to perform better and give the results of change. By removing Mukul Goyal from the post of Director General of Police (DGP) using the word ‘inaction’, CM Yogi has given a strict message to the officers. In such a situation, speculation has started that soon many more officers of the police and administration may be whipped for strict action.
At the official residence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, complainants from all over the state come to the Janata Darbar. CM Yogi listens to their problems and gets them resolved by the concerned officials. Many times he has said that all the complaints come like this, which can be resolved only at the tehsil, district and police station level. If this is ensured, then the public will not have to face the trouble of coming to Lucknow.
In the second term of his government, from the very beginning, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is trying to improve the system further. Under the policy of zero tolerance on corruption, action has been taken against some IAS and IPS officers. It is discussed that soon there will be transfers in the police department as well. Police officers who do not perform well will be removed from the field.
Here, expressing displeasure at the DGP directly after the sensational incidents in Prayagraj and Lalitpur, CM Yogi has indicated that the careless officers will not be spared. There is a discussion that not only the police department, but also a major reshuffle in the administrative officers can happen soon.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has also visited three divisions Ayodhya, Jhansi and Meerut recently. He has also taken feedback from ministers. After this big action from the government level, the restlessness among the officials has also increased.
